FAQS about our first nations immersive experiences

  • What does On-Country mean?

"On-Country" means being on the land of the Traditional Owners. It's more than a location, it's a cultural, spiritual, and historical space where knowledge and stories are shared.

  • I'm a solo entrepreneur, can I attend a First Nations Immersive Experience?

Yes, although we do require a minimum of 5 participants to run the experience so it will depend on how many other participants we have. You may like to approach other small business owners to see if they would be interested in coming along too!

  • I've been to other cultural experiences before. What makes this one different?

Unlike touristy cultural experiences, these private experiences are specifically tailored to foster positive relationships between First Nations people and the leaders/businesses that wish to engage with them. You can expect a deeper, more meaningful experience than other cultural experiences you may have experienced before.

  • Is this just a tour of the land?

No. It's an immersive experience that blends storytelling, cultural learning, reflection, and business application. It's about building connection and understanding, not sightseeing.

  • What if I accidentally do something wrong?

Our facilitators will gently guide participants, mistakes are part of learning. The important thing is to approach with respect and humility.

  • Will there be cultural protocols we need to follow?

Yes, you'll be guided through them, such as acknowleging Elders, showing respect on sacred sites, and participating in yarning circles.

  • How will this benefit me or my business?

These experiences build cultural competency, deepen respect, and provide practical insight into engaging with First Nations communities and businesses. It also strengthens leadership through reflection and connection.
